I have curves. I've struggled to dress my body to flatter my pear shape. I've finally learned to work with my dangerous curves. I finally accept that this is MY shape; I've made peace with my body. I encourage other pear shaped ladies to accept and love their shape; it is a beautiful, classic womanly shape.
I'm also a ballroom dance lover. I'll share what I've learned about dressing for dance, competition, ballroom glitter, sparkle and glamour.

Gold Shoes
Hello everyone. I've been writing papers.....and writing papers.
I'm not writing much today....I'm 'written out'. This is what I wore today to teach.
Lisa, that wrap dress is amazing on you. I really like it paired with the long cardigan too. I wish it was cool enough hear to wear real, honest-to-goodness, fall outfits. You look beautiful!
Thank you Ashley...It kiss the ground that Diane von Furstengerg walks on...haha...she was a genius to create the wrap dress. They flatter everyone, don't they?
These shoes are so interesting to look at, I love how the straps go from a gray suede looking material down to a shiny metallic silver on the last strap, it's very cool! And this wrap dress does looks fabulous on you, the bright blue in your necklace really adds to the brown and cream print.
You look sensational in this dress Lis :-) and the gold sandals are so divine. I've never worn gold shoes (I don't think) maybe I should look for a pair ... something to consider.
Love this look. And you have a great blog here. I spent some quality time. I'm obsessed with ballroom dancing, and if I could walk in heels, I'd totally try dancing in them! Way to go! You got a new follower in me!
Sorry if I am repeating myself, but that is a lovely dress! But, if I am repeating myself, and I know I am, you are to blame too, because you are repeatingly wearing lovely dresses! ;-)
