Closing In......

I may just pout.....
because tomorrow is my last day of freedom.
I'm not sure why it seems so hard this semester to give up this free time and get back to the books.  Usually I'm ready after the first week.

Big, cozy unbranded two-toned scarf.  I love it so much that I want to cuddle it all day.
Maybe I'm a bit weary of school.
I need to snap out of it fast.  The plan is to pursue my PhD after grad school!  I may need a break.  Whew.

Today was a special day; it was my eight year old  son Peyton's first ballroom dance lesson.  I'm so thrilled!.  He was a bit shy, so I didn't snap any photos although I was aching to do so.
He will even have a youth partner soon; a cute nine year old girl who's been dancing a bit.  She's very good and serious about dance.

Today's post is short and sweet...
Have a blissful remainder of the weekend, my dear blog friends!  Be safe and enjoy.

Cozy, and smooshy and cuddle-able!

Cut Loose dress.  Ankle bracelet; my mom's high school friendship/charm bracelet.
The color and the pattern enchant me.

The only piece of jewelry that did this dress justice is my LS cameo necklace.

  2. Gorgeous scarf. This week has been a brutal week for me - getting back into the routine with the kids in school and getting some work done. Dark, early mornings - how I long for the spring in England! X

  4. I know how hard it is to get back to the grind of both courses you are TAKING and courses you are TEACHING. Thankfully I finished my PhD and am just teaching now, but the breaks are still heavenly! Hang in there! In the meantime, I love the cameo necklace! The other stones/items on it make it all the more interesting!
