I'm caught in the vortex of super-busyness. I've been practicing for the upcoming competition (two weeks from yesterday is the first day of the comp!) and trying to keep on on my reading, school assignments and the research work I'm doing. I know my last post was short on content (and style)...and this one will be too. I'm beat, and will be dancing again tomorrow and Sunday. I hope to get back to regular blogging as soon as the competition is over.
I went to a dance party on Friday night; the first one in a long time. I miss regular weekend dance parites.LS necklace...I love it!
This is Thursday's outfit. I wasn't able to get a picture...I felt cozy and pretty all day. I love the rick velvet skirt.
I'm beat.
I will share some pics with you, but posting will be a little erratic until the comp is over.
Night, all.
Make sure you rest as well! Gorgeous necklaces! Xx
ReplyDeleteThank you and thank you!!
DeleteHave I told you how jealous I am of all your LS jewelry? I have one convertible LS pendant, which I am crazy about.
ReplyDeleteI love all of your outfits, but the trouser pants with the blue sweater is especially eye-catching. I think the almost monochrome look makes a lovely willowy column of blue.
Thank you, Lynne. I do love my Lia jewelry...but if I wasn't an advisor I wouldn't have as much as I do. I'm considering signing up for a Lia website with the company to sell online!
DeleteYou have such a wonderful jewelery collection. Good luck in the competition!
ReplyDeleteThank you. You know, I only do ballroom, but for fun my coach has me dancing in latin and rhythm and I'm in a big panic because I don't have an appropriate dress right now!
DeleteGosh, you have the prettiest jewelry collection!
ReplyDeleteHappy & Restful weekend to you.... if that's possible!!
Thanks, Jeannie!
DeleteIf I wasn't a Lia Sophia adviser, I could not afford this jewelry. At least not that AND continue to dance!
Fabulous necklaces!
ReplyDeleteThanks you Joanna.
DeleteThat gold collar is stunning! Sorry I haven't been by lately, been semi-comatose lately. You're looking good, though!
ReplyDeleteThank you....I know you have had your challenges! Hope you are feeling better soon!
DeleteYour necklaces are so pretty. I really like the leaf necklace and the collar.
ReplyDeleteThank you. I love the leaf...its so delicate. The collar is fun, I don't usually wear them, but I really enjoy this one.
DeletePretty jewelry. I'm impressed you post at all with the demands of practicing for the competition. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteHaha.....I'm trying to stay caught up so that I don't have much to worry about during comp weekend!
DeleteThe jewelry is outstanding!! Good luck with your schedule. We'll all be cheering you on in two weeks!!
ReplyDeleteThank you Jean. I appreciate the boost!
DeleteThe velvet skirt looks luxurious. Beautiful jewelery as well. I'm trying to be more bold with jewelery, but I do find I like smaller, dainty items.

Monica I had always preferred daintier pieces...but then I tried on Lia jewelry at a party and got hooked. That's why I became an advisor. Now I prefer bolder pieces with a vintage inspired style.
DeleteHope you will have some downtime to relax a bit Lisa. I am really like your leaf necklace - so pretty! All these pictures of Lia Sophia jewelry is making want some.

If you can wait until next weekend...... i will have my website up and I can be your rep :)
DeleteBut if you prefer to have a party, which I highly recommend you can look at the Lia Sophia website and find a rep in your area. Parties are fun!
I do offer an incentive if you use me.
Either way, you can't go wrong with LS...its so gorgeous.
I'm hoping for downtime too. I'm just starting to get that feeling of being just a bit behind in my work. I need to focus!
You look so happy on the first picture and I like your black dress. I really like the leaf jewelry, it is one of my favorite of yours! I hope it will calm down a little for your soon!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Anna. I love that delicate little leaf too.
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping things will calm down as well!
Hi, Lisa. Thanks for stopping in at my blog.
ReplyDeleteYou have such gorgeous jewelry. I admire you for keeping all those balls juggling...so to speak. I have never, ever been that type of person although I wished I was inclined to be more that way. Good luck with your upcoming dance competition.
Thank you Lisa. Sometimes its not easy to keep all the balls in the air. I do my best though!
DeleteI intend to spend some time perusing your blog!
Wonderful jewellery!

You have the most wonderfully lovely jewelry. I like to close my eyes and imagine your jewelry box looking a bit akin to when explorers stumble upon a carve of treasures in a pirate movie. Beautiful babbles, beads, metals, and stones glistening as far as the eye can see. :)
ReplyDeleteLovely, wonderful cold weather ensembles. I especially like the touch of leopard in Thursday's.

Hahaha...that's funny, Jessica! I like your imagination. I don't have a jewelry box, though! I have a couple of mini dress forms and a very art deco lady jewelry holder and a few other things that my jewelry is draped over and in...and its all on my two dressers. I'm pretty picky so it is very neat and organized.
DeleteI am very fortunate to be able purchase the jewelry at a deep discount, but I may not stick with the Lia Sophia long if business doesn't start to pick up!
Hey Lisa - you look darling in that black dress and layering the leaf necklaces worked magnificently well.
ReplyDeleteIn regards to school - well i don't have time for anything anymore :/ i cannot wait until the semester is over. And it just begun!
