My camera is back!
Hi everyone....thank you for the good wishes and support you've extended to me during my break.
I've been busy.
In addition to preparing for my trip to Indianapolis to train for my new job, I've tried to fit in some lunches with my ladies. I wanted to squeeze that in before I'm trying to adjust to working FULL TIME again for the first time in 9 years. Of course between school, my volunteer work, my teaching and research assistantship, selling Mary Kay and Lia Sophia and working on my Master's thesis.....I do work a full time schedule...
But that was more flexible than a traditional full time job in social services.
I'm am excited!!!
I though I should do a post since I have my camera back.

"I'll just sit here.....I hope they don't POP"
The past couple of weeks have been a whirlwind......had to get fingerprinted, drug tested and consent to a background check for the new job. I cleaned, purged and organized my home so that my oldest son, his wife and baby could move in to help with Peyton while I'm gone. I organized EVERY SINGLE nook, cranny, cabinet and drawer in my home. Every single, tiny, thing from pillows to safety pins has a special place. I got rid of piles and piles of things that were not either function, beautiful or necessary. I did all of this to make it easy for my family to function while I'm away.
I hope I don't come home to a messy house. I hope they can function without me.
Most of all.....I hope everyone is safe and sound.
That's my biggest concern. :)
I leave Sunday............
So glad to see you back today! It sounds like you have been busy prepping and getting ready. So excited that you are excited :)

ReplyDeletexx, Heather
Hi Heather, thank you. I had fun taking the shots!
DeleteCongrats on the new job...sounds like there are loads of changes in the immediate future. I've retired...and like you, will make decluttering the focus of my summer.
ReplyDeleteHi Terri! Wow, you've had lots of changes too. Good to see you back; I've missed your posts and your comments. Hope all is well.
DeleteGood luck with your job training, Lisa. My goodness, you are the most energetic gal!
ReplyDeleteI'm worn out this week, Lisa!
DeleteGood luck for your new job, Lisa!
ReplyDeleteWorking full time again is a new adventure but when I am reading what you have done over the past years, you might be less flexible but on the other hand you can focus more one that job. I always find it very difficult to have several jobs at the same time because you always want to give a 100% to each task.
Will you continue Lia Sophia and Mary Kay?
All the best,
Annette
