This is the first time I've worn a color blocked piece.  I'm on the fence about it.  Its just ok....I think its going to go into the giveaway box.The dress is an apartment 9 thrifted dress and the cardigan is New York and Company.

The necklace....is NOT a Lia Sophia piece...yes, I am cheating.  But I couldn't resist this Sweet Romance.  ;)
The earrings are also Sweet Romance....

This is the casual watch; a Citizen Eco Drive; I wear a mixed metal piece every day, but this version with the leather strap fit with today's outfit a little better.

My NEW wedding ring!  My old ring kept losing stones and it was getting annoying to keep taking it for repair!  I did have a warranty, but who wants to leave their ring at the jewelers for two weeks every three months?  My original ring also has a high set stone that I kept whacking on things...so we decided to get a simple band that I could put on and forget.  Eventually, I'll have the stone from my original ring reset in a more secure design....but right now, I'm loving the simplicity of this pretty ring.

In this and the next photo, I am playing with a couple of necklaces to see how they work with a coral top.  I wore this top and black trousers to Rose's house on Tuesday to do a Mary Kay makeover for her.  I love this delicate 'Vintage Rose' Lia Sophia necklace...but not so much with the coral top.

.....and this necklace, that POPPED with the berry colored top I wore for date night last weekend...is just kind of 'there' with this top.  I think high contrast is the key.....
Via Spiga boots that I got on super clearance earlier in the year...Love them! Really, they felt as comfortable as house slippers.

And here is the beautiful, blooming Rose after her makeover.  I think she looks vibrant and pretty!  I'm so glad she let me come over and play with makeup.  I loved giving her a makeover that made her feel beautiful!

  3. You have such a good eye for accessories! I love the details, don't you? I might need to get one of my rings remade - it keeps breaking apart, and I'm afraid I will lose a stone at some point.

Rose looks amazing - her skin looks gorgeous and she doesn't look too "made up." You did a great job - very subtle.

    1. Thank you Sheila. I can't wait to tell Rose you said that. She will love hearing it. She is a very modest person.

I hope you don't lose any stones in your ring!

    1. I agree, Lyddie...but because I'm a Lia Sophia advisor, I believe that its best to wear that brand in order to best promote. But there are other pieces that I do love...like the pendant. Its fun!

    1. Thank you Lorena. I'm not a big fan of color blocking. I don't really know why. I didn't feel pretty in this dress at all.
