Cobalt......

My day started early and it was busy, but it was filled with things that are precious to me, so it was a good kind of busy.

The morning started with a Mary Kay morning 'power meeting'...aka power hour.  Our Sales Director brought the new products with her and we got to play with makeup, which is always fun.

Then I had to make a trip into the studio to work on the choreography  for the showcase that takes place in three weeks.
If this outfit looks familiar, it is because I wore the exact same outfit...but with the top in a berry color for date night last week.  I just love this top and skirt together.

I layered two of my LS necklaces together.

.....and wore my 'mom/grandma' bracelet.  The bracelet is pre-Lia Sophia days and its by Brighton.

Lia Sophia 'Greek Isle' Ring.  The color of the stone is far prettier in person.

After the days activities, my son Jayme came home from college again this weekend and we went to play Laser Tag!  This was my first time....what a blast.  I want to do this all the time!

Spring Break is nearly over and I still have lots of schoolwork to do.

I'm going to be advising a Lia show tomorrow...so I'm really going to have to hustle.
It's been a very good spring break :)

  1. Cobalt blue really suits you Lisa. Glad to know I am not the only one that buys the same item in multiple colors. I have never been to laser tag - maybe when my son gets a little older. Enjoy the rest of your spring break!

    1. Hi Alice....Lasar tag is a blast.
If I find something that is really functional and works well...it makes sense to buy many colors!

  3. Love the "Greek Isle" ring. I haven't tried Mary Kay in years but when I was a kid I used to love it when my mom got those little sample lipsticks that were so tiny!

The ring is so much prettier in person. I get tons of compliments when I wear it. Thank you Joanna.

  4. That skirt must be great for dancing -- it looks like it has lots of fun movement!

    1. It is Cara...it has movement and it doesn't ride up or obstruct the movement of either partner. And it has great "swoosh"

  6. Lisa: Have been reading your blog for a while. I think I came across it via a liasophia connection. I too have a thing for their jewellery. I have seen some of your combinations of layering the pieces and you have inspired me to try different combos!! I also really like looking at fashion blogs and like thrifting now too. I recently lost 87 pounds through WW and need to find a new way of dressing. I like alot of your combos of clothing too. Today I actually wore a sweater dress from Old Navy black tights and black boots. Would have never had tried this before, but saw an outfit similiar on your blog. And of course a lia sophia necklace and earrings. Thanks. My neighbour (recently moved to Alberta, Canada) is an advisor and recently came back from a cruise to Belize with liasophia. She actually was the first person to bring it to Northern Ontario(where I am) and has been very successful with them. Working on a trip to Hawaii. Thanks for the inspiration. Keep it up!! Sue from Ontario.

Its hard not to love LS once you have been to a party or have seen it in person.
I hear that LS is becoming very, very popular in Canada.

    1. Monica...its a blast. You don't need kids to try it, but they definitely get you into it. All ages play Laser Tag. Its a great date night or party event.

  8. Blue is a nice color on you...I like it. BTW, you look a little too glamorous to be playing laser tag. But I can see how it would be fun.

    1. Hahaha! That gave me such a giggle, Heather. I raised two boys (who are adults now) and am still raising one (the 8 year old)....I do all kinds of unglamorous things! I think you would like it too, if you tried it! :)

  10. I think blue is a good color for you Lisa! The outfit is so cute, and it looks very comfortable too! I like those kind of outfits! Squezzing into uncomfortable clothes (and shoes!!!!) is not my melody! I always try to comfort my self when I have taken some time off despite that I have a lot on my work agenda that I will work more effectively if I get some time off, and it is actually true too! Have a great week my friend!

    1. Hi Anna.....I took all week off of work! It was spring break and I had intended to catch up. I did catch up, but I did it all in one day!

I think the blue is a good color on almost anyone! Thank you Anna for the compliment!
