75% Thrifted!

My outfit today is 75% thrifted!

The dress, sweater and scarf are thrifted.

The beautiful Italian leather jacket is thrifted.  The boots, tights and 'necklace' (see below) are not thrifted.

Its been dangerously windy here today; we're feeling the effects of Hurricane Sandy in the Midwest.

I'm saying prayers and hoping that it will be over soon and that those who live in Sandy's path will be safe.

This isn't a necklace.  Its a belt, which I'm wearing as a necklace today.

This cuff...is thrifted.......

......but this is what it really looks like; I had to get creative today.  I didn't have any of the silver chunky jewelry I wanted to wear with this dress, so I flipped the bracelet....it was pretty enough to wear as a cuff!

 I love this beaded bracelet.

Tight pattern detail.

Oh, sneaky, Peyton!  He snuck this picture in!

This is 'Peyton's' dog...Lucas Rufus McScruff.....he's a little love bug!

STAY SAFE EVERYONE!!!!!

  3. Ooooh, it's that gorgeous leather jacket you thrifted! It's such a stunning coat, I love the longer length. What a great idea, changing your jewelry around like that, I would have never guessed that your chain necklace is actually a belt! The monotone color scheme is lovely, the patterned tights add a great little bit of visual interest.

    1. Thanks, Katie. I'm enjoying being a little more creative with my outfits. I used to be a 'black trousers and turtleneck' kind of dresser.

and your necklace AKA belt, I would have never thought of that...of course, if I wore one of my belts, I'd have to double or triple it. LOL

  11. You rock at Thrifting! Can you take me thrifting with you so I can save some $$$. I did the same thing with a necklace the other day - flipping it to wear the other side...I love jewelry that you get 2 looks for the price of 1!
